Legislative Focus

1. Move a motion to include our local market/farming hubs in the National Agricultural Value Chain program for better funding.
2. Constituency Action: Organize annual “SME Grants” for women traders and provide “Startup Kits” (irrigation pumps, improved seedlings, and sewing/coding tools) for artisans.

Infrastructure

1.  Lobby the Ministry of Works to ensure the major local road is captured and fully funded in the Federal Budget.
2. Healthcare Access
3. Legislative Focus: Support Bills that strengthen Primary Healthcare (PHC) funding at the local level.
4. Constituency Action: Execute a quarterly “Mobile Health Clinic” outreach to rural areas where residents can get free screenings and basic medications.
5. Oversight: Ensure that the Federal Medical Centers and Teaching Hospitals serving our area are properly equipped through strict committee oversight.

Security & Community Policing

1. Legislative Focus: Advocate for Constitutional Alteration to allow for more decentralized policing (State/Local Policing) to better protect our farmers and traders.
2. Constituency Action: Facilitate the installation of Solar Streetlights in “dark spots” across the constituency to deter criminal activities at night.

The Town Hall Promise

I will host Quarterly Town Hall Meetings (one in each local government area) to hear your complaints before heading back to plenary in Abuja.

Constituency Office

 Establish a 24/7 functional constituency office with a dedicated Liaison Officer to receive petitions and job-seeking CVs from constituents.
